As I have yet to see this in person at the Museum of Kalymnos, I used images I found to help me reimagine bronze into an almost marble figure. As I was creating this image of a women who is from ancient times, I could not help but see my mother, grandmother and all my female relatives dead or alive in that face. I am proud to be a Kalymnian and so proud of all the women before and after me.
